If you haven’t gotten a gift for your sweetheart yet, you’re running out of time and options to come up with a great Valentine’s Day gift.

However, even at this 11th hour, there are still a few places you can turn for some unique and thoughtful gift ideas.

Last Minute Valentines Day Gifts for Women

The first thing on your list should be a dozen roses. Florists are going to be absolutely bombarded with requests today, so get to one as soon as possible (unless you want to give your lady daffodils instead of roses). After that, you can easily slide over to Wal-mart or Target and pick up a box of chocolates. While fine chocolates like Sees or Godiva are ideal, there’s nothing wrong the old American standard, Hershey’s.

In addition, while flowers and chocolates are always key, you should consider getting your lady something that will last more than a few weeks. The easiest route would be to go to Best Buy and pick up either a camera, an iPod, an iPhone, and iPad or a bunch of her favorite DVD’s.

If your special someone already has all of those electronic devices or your pocketbook can’t handle them, consider getting her a lingerie outfit. While this obviously depends on the personality of the lady, it could work out to be the best gift you’ve ever bought.

Another good option is to swing by the Body Shop and pick up a bunch of luxury soap bars, candles and fragrances. As long as you or she is not allergic to the stuff, it will probably be very well received.

If you’re really lazy, you could just buy a Valentine’s Day eCard or a dozen ‘virtual roses’ either to send to her email or to post to her profile page. To top this one off, add on an Amazon gift card.

Last but not least, consider buying her some type of accessory such as a hat, scarf or gloves at a store like Macy’s. When you go, make sure to have one of the ladies from the store help you pick something out (lest you make the mistake of thinking you have good female fashion sense).
