I love the writing about tools - they make a real difference in our lives while sewing. I too have a lovely brass seam ripper with replacement blade. It is so comfortable and pretty I can forget that I’m doing a not so favorite task when using it. Best Press is truly the “BEST.”

I like the latest pattern alot but would change the black to something a little lighter. I tend to go to lighter colors as I get older!

I read your article about the joy of the tools we use….I hope you carry those wooden handles for the seam rippers? Cause I would really like one…my hand does tire easily from the small rippers now, so that larger handle would ease that pain…and nice that you just change the ripper and not the whole handle when they dull. Thanks for all the inspiration you give!

These could be the fabrics I have been looking for!! I have been asked to make a quilt for a friend who just love loves purple! but I am a ‘green’ girl and sometimes have a hard time staying away from it. This solves all problems!

The Whimsy quilt is great - would take ME out of my box with those colors but I probably need it! Also wanted to say that I LOVE that seam ripper thingie Wendy mentions - used to be my least favorite tool, now I actually like it:)!!!
The block of the month has been great (also ‘our of the box’ for me) - would you consider doing s ’softer’ color scheme as an option next year?

Perfect Ten, love the pattern, I am a perfect 20, that would be size. So if I want a perfect ten I better make a quilt…when my son called and I told him I lost 50 lbs, I had no idea he was at the airport.

Hello from Alaska. I have been quilting for over 30 years but have had a hiatus the past 3 after the death of my son. I have recently started sewing again, and what a challenge to get my mind back into the swing of things. Love the quilt. I have always what to learn how to make quilts. So my friend and I toke a 3 month quilting class, and have been making quilts now for the last 3 mos. I love it. I have made several different style quilts now for Christmas gifts I really enjoyed the classes and plan on signing up for another 3 months in Nov.

The quilt is lovely… I have just started quilting, along with my furture daughter in law. She entered her quilt in the fair and won a ribbion. I am going to go for a ‘crazy quilt’ to pass on to my granddaughter… thanks for the news letters and a chance to win. I hope I can do such a wonderful job!
