Me and the ladies from the office were designing a surprise baby shower for a lady we work with. We started obtaining the whole thing structured immediately. Every one folks intended to bring in a meal and a few the women offered to handle the alcoholic beverages. My friend and I were in command of the decorations and party supplies. There was a seven piece layette set that was very nice. I was wondering one among the baby shower gift baskets they had. There was just so much baby shower gifts to settle on from. Looking at all these endearing baby items made me almost want that I were having another baby. Nevertheless I have already got 3 at home and I do not know if I could handle another child right now. Nevertheless babies are so precious. I simply would like they may stay little just a touch longer. There grown before you know it.

We each went in on ordering a gift set that had all types of little new baby gifts. There were all types of things for baby’s bath and bedtime. Everything we ordered came in masses of your time for the party. The banner and all the lovely decorations really looked outstanding.
All the meals for the shower were put in the day care kitchen while we were working. We were all anxious for the day care center to shut and every one the parents to pick up their children. You could tell she was very shocked when she came to know what was going on. It all turned out better than we estimated. The set of games we bought were lots of fun. I liked the charades baby party game the best. We had a smart time with that game. She had a ton of gifts to hold home from the party. She appeared happy with the baby memento quilt I bought for her. Good factor she had told us what name that they had selected for their little girl. I am happy we had this shower for her. The look on her face was all value it.
Seventy-nine percent of South Africans would rather be taken on a surprise trip to a romantic destination than have their partner “pop the question” this Valentine’s Day. This is according to an online survey conducted by Travelstart.co.za, South Africa’s biggest price comparison and booking website.
“This has been an interesting survey for us, because it highlights South Africans’ passion for travel. We have seen an enormous surge in bookings this Valentine’s Day and it is clear that couples are taking advantage of the discounts that the recession has brought, both for local and international trips,” says Stephan Ekbergh, CEO and founder of Travelstart.co.za.
When asked about dream destinations for Valentine’s Day, 69% of the 7300 respondents said that tropical islands like Maldives and Fiji are at the top of their wish list.
A third of single travellers have romantic flings
“Good news for single travellers is that more than a third of the respondents had a romantic fling with someone that they met while travelling, so maybe this is a good reason to pack your bags and head to the airport,” says Ekbergh.
Eighty-seven percent listed “seeing the world and meeting new people” as their favourite reason for travelling while only 2% said that they travel to join the mile high club. In fact, 30% of South African’s had never heard of the mile high club.
So even though couples see more value in travelling to an exotic destination than a proposal, it is very possible that a romantic island getaway will create the perfect setting for an unforgettable proposal anyway.
